The Boys From Baghdad High won the Premiere Prize at the Sandford St.Martin Trust Awards and was Short-listed for the 2008 World Documentary Feature Competition.

The Film Premiered at the Sheffield Doc/Festival and received a standing ovation from the audience at the Tribeca Film festival and at the Traverse City Film Festival.

When the documentary aired in the U.K (B.B.C. 2), the overnight viewing figures totalled 600,000, which was 3 per cent of the total television audience for that slot.

The Film was also short-listed for an Amnesty International 2008 U.K. Award in the category for Television Documentary.
